2K Fun Stryker Build

2k Fun Stryker

Most may think the bright colors is the best way to make your plane visible (true) but...if you want your plane even more visible you want a good design to go with the bright paint. This is how you make it more visible, first you need to know that up close the paint will have bright colors, but from a distance your eyes only see in grey scale. Meaning that if you fly close you will see bright colors but far away it will look light grey or black.

Lets start with top being this to me is most important. Imagine if the whole plane was all bright red. In the air you will have a hard time telling which is top and bottom. It would look like a red blob in the sky. Now back to eyes only seeing gray scale...Normal & Grey scale PIC

There are 2 reasons I made my plane in 2 colors and in a V- Shaped pattern. The 2 colors are for when your eyes only see gray scale you can still tell the difference between light and dark (the lighter color is the front of plane)

In the air the arrow shape pattern points like an arrow the direction im traveling. I use all black on bottom w/yellow tips because the bottom of plane will be shadowed from the sun so colors will look dark anyways. You also need to think about the colors of where you will be flying and the sky conditions too. If you have a white and blue sky and you use the same colors blue or white, your plane is going to disappear on you. Same goes with trees, use dark paint and you fly near trees its going to disappear. Use contrasting colors from your surroundings. I found the best colors are NEON orange, black, yellow, red, green. Tip: Always use the brightest colors on top, darker on bottom.
